LevelUP – Advancing Jordanian Industries is a United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) multi-component project aiming at creating decent job opportunities for women and youth – including through self-employment, – and supporting the inclusive and sustainable industrial development of the country in accordance with the Jordan 2025 Economic Development Plan.

We partner with The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply (MITS) in Jordan and The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) to contribute to Jordan’s industrial advancement and provide the government with key economic tools to support the development of competitive small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Together we support the Royal Kingdom of Jordan in its efforts to build a nurturing ecosystem that promotes economic inclusion and enables women and young people from both rural and urban regions to realize their entrepreneurial aspirations.

Abdallah Al Hindawi

Senior National SME ExpertUNIDO
Abdallah is a senior director and consultant with a solid background and over 27 years of experience. Since 2019, he is working as a Senior National SME Expert with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization UNIDO on the Export Consortia project targeting local exporters, SMEs, Jordanian public-private official economic entities and donors to provide required legislative, technical and financial support to promote the development of several industrial exporting consortia in Jordan.

Suhad Shtayyeh

Founder and Creative Director - CIIN Magazine

Suhad Shtayyeh has poured her 23 years of fashion experience into her passion project, fashion and lifestyle blog, CIIN. One of the first online magazines of its kind in the region. CIIN was established in 2015 with the intent of exposing the women of the Arab region to as much relevant style, beauty and lifestyle information that would allow them the freedom to express themselves more authentically. Suhad is also a professional content creator, motivational speaker and public figure in the region.

Salam Dajani

Founder, designer of WENIN, salam & Fashion broccoli

Salam Dajani is the founder of WENIN, a contemporary womenswear brand, established in Milan in 2017.  Salam is also the creator of the salam Clothing label, a GenZ-targeted streetwear label based in the Middle East.  She has recently merged both brands post-COVID! under her minted FashionBroccoli collective. An exciting online concept launching this summer. An architect by title, a lover of creativity and details, a believer that even though the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, a creator's mission is to give those eyes a reason to stop, stare with admiration, and inhale beauty.

Environmental Specialist - UNIDO

Beatrice Verez holds a BSc. in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a MSc. in Environmental Governance from the University of Freiburg. She specialises in climate finance, circular economy and green public procurement, working for various consultancies before joining UNIDO to work on private sector development with a specific focus on women and youth across Africa and the MENA region.

Elisabetta Vignando

International Marketing Expert - UNIDO

Elisabetta Vignando is a trade and industrial development advisor. With over 25 years of experience,as business development manager, largely spent in an international environment, she has developed the capacity and enthusiasm for working in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual setting. Elisabetta Vignando has led (in public and private sectors) the development and promoted the implementation of innovative industrial and trade policies and strategies.

Anas Alshanti

UX Designer / Entrepreneur - Fundlify Crowdfunding

With 20 years of professional UX/UI Design & Branding experience, Anas is the founder of Fundlify crowdfunding platform, the first Split Crowdfunding process model. He is also the creator of a Shopify official payment gateway (currently used by over 630 active merchants) and the creator of the first e-commerce cross-border marketplace solution in partnership with Pitney Bowes - ClearPath. Anas has also served as a judge at the Webby Awards (International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences IADAS), and has won four Honoree Webby Awards in digital media & mobile applications.
